We Groom
Dog Wash Cafe likes to make each dog's grooming experience as stress-free as possible. DWC promote positive reinforcement and use tasty treats to reward good behaviour. Appointments mean that dogs are never kept in a cage before being groomed. Owners are encouraged to stay if it makes the dog more comfortable.
DWC caters for most breed cuts & are happy to listen to your requests to give your dog a desired look.
Prices start from $60 for small breeds and vary due to coat condition and skin condition and dogs temperament. Please call for a more accurate price and further information.
There is a 10% surcharge for grooms booked for Sundays.

You Groom
Have you ever wanted to have a go at clipping your dog but don’t have the equipment? Maybe your clippers and scissors struggle through a thick or knotty coat?
DWC have top of the range clippers, blades, scissors and other equipment at your disposal. There are a range of different height benches to put your dog at the correct level which makes the job easier.
The friendly and experienced staff will show you how to use the equipment and correct grooming techniques.
The cost is $15 per half hour and it is preferable to make an appointment.
With the colder months now here
it is important to keep your dogs coat maintained. We suggest a tidy up to the face, groin, bum and feet every 4-6 weeks. That way the dog can be keep comfortable and they will not have to be shaved all over while the weather is too cold
Puppy's First Haircut
It is never too early to introduce your puppy to a positive grooming experience. This is the most important visit to a groomer that a dog can have. DWC can advise how best to take care of puppy’s coat, correct brushing and grooming techniques for those new dog owners.
It is very important to add or include basic grooming to a puppy’s training program. DWC can show you how easy it can be.
Appointments are necessary. Remember not to feed your puppy before its first haircut.
Nail Clipping & Ear Cleaning
DWC have experienced staff in the field of veterinary nursing for these services. Staff are happy to teach dog owners how to safely clip nails and clean your own dog's ears.
Colour your dogs fur.
Choose from vibrant pinks, greens, blue, orange, red & puple. Colour ears, tails or for short hair dogs we can colour shapes such as: stars, hearts or even a holly @ Christmas. Fur colour is safe & washes out.
Worming & Flea
DWC stock worm tablets and can administer to your dog free of charge (if dog's temperament allows). DWC also stock flea and tick treatments. Note that harsh chemical rinses are not used here as they are harmful to the environment.
Micro Chipping (discounted)
Did you know that it is law in NSW to have all dogs micro-chipped? DWC can micro-chip your dog (or cat) for only $25 ! Appointment necessary.
